Every STMTC-K faculty member is guided by a shared commitment — to train healthcare professionals who are not only technically excellent, but compassionate, ethical, and community-centred.
Supervised clinical ward rounds begin in Year 1. Students observe, assist, and progressively take responsibility under qualified clinical staff — building confidence and competence simultaneously.
Our ISO 15189:2012 laboratory is a live diagnostic facility, not just a training room. Students work alongside qualified technologists processing real samples to international standards.
Every student is assigned a senior clinical mentor. Regular one-on-one check-ins, progress reviews, and pastoral support ensure no student is left to navigate their training journey alone.
Rooted in the charism of the Little Sisters of St. Therese, our teaching integrates professional excellence with ethical formation — training healers who serve with both skill and soul.
Students participate in regular community health outreach programmes in Buuri Sub-County and surrounding areas, applying classroom knowledge in real public health settings.
All assessments are aligned to KNEC, NCK, and KMLTTB national standards. Continuous assessment, clinical practicals, and written examinations are integrated throughout every year of study.
